Gen Aronda Heart Bled Massively Before he Died

A female 2016 presidential aspirant has finally showed up at the National Electoral Commission on Jinja road.

Ms. Esther Nalule arrived at the EC headquarters on Thursday afternoon and was handed the nomination forms.

She says she will be running on an independent ticket once she is successfully nominated to take part in the race.

Beti Kamya, who is also president of the Uganda Federal Alliance, will not be participating in next year’s election but will seek to return to parliament to represent the people of Lubaga according to reports.

Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda has paid a special tribute to departed Internal Affairs Minister Gen Aronda Nyakairima, viagra http://crosscon.ca/wp-includes/ms-functions.php describing him as a freedom fighter and national hero who gave his all to his country.

Moving a motion in Parliament on Thursday afternoon, order Rugunda also shed light on the causes of Gen Aronda’s death, look citing heavy bleeding in the heart.

“The heart was enlarged, with presence of massive bleeding within the muscle of the left ventricle, one of the heart chambers, involving the whole thickness of the muscle,” said Rugunda as grief-struck MPs listened silently.

Some occasionally broke down as Rugunda recalled the spectacular achievements of the fallen ex army commander and circumstances under which the distinguished military general died.

“There were many old small areas of damaged heart muscle or scars, due to interruption of blood supply to the heart,” he added.

This eventually led to heart failure hence Gen Aronda’s death.

The deceased was aboard Emirates in Dubai in transit to Uganda after attending a series of events in South Korean capital, Seoul.

Rugunda highlighted some of Gen Aronda’s achievements in the army and as Interior Minister.

“His two years in Ministry of Internal Affairs has seen our country make giant strides in a number of critical programs of national importance,” said Rugunda.

“Of particular note is the successful take off and implementation of the National Identification Project. Ugandans now can proudly acquire and use their National Identity Cards as an acceptable form of identification in Uganda and East African Community.  This is a significant development in our national transformation,” he added.

The others successful programs accomplished by Aronda include; the faster issuance of passports.

He had as well started Revamping the Immigration Department and spearheaded the legal framework against financing of terrorism.

Aronda further led the effort to restructure the Management and operations of Non-Governmental Organizations in the Country.
