She Corporate 2-0 She Makerere

In a game played on Saturday at the Uganda Institute of Information and communications technology, Nakawa, She Corporate edged past Makerere 2-0 to record their first win.

She Makerere put up a fight especially in the first half matching the hosts but bottled down in the second period.

Two minutes after the half hour mark, She Corporate had a goal disallowed with referee Catherine Nagadya calling offside on Alice Kalimba.
Kalimba who had caused a lot of pressure on the visitor’s defence was replaced at the stoke of halftime after picking an injury.
She Corporate broke the deadlock a minute after recess when Makerere defender Rebecca Nakasatto failed to contain Munezero’s cross and instead cleared the ball into her own net for the home side to take the lead.
Makerere failed to make any effort at She Corporate defence despite coach Hadijjah Namuyanja making several changes.
Defender Mukeshimana jumped high to power in Maggy Munezero’s cross from a corner with ten minutes to play and thus doubled She Corporate’s lead.
The result means She Corporate now move to fourth position in the Victoria group on 3 points while Makerere drop to rock bottom in 8th position.
