Coach Frank Mulindwa is confident confident his side are prepared to take on Uganda Martyr’s.
“All the players are in perfect shape, no injury concerns at the moment and our focus is on the game against Uganda Martyrs as we seek to cement our lead at the top,” he said.
However, Mulindwa has warned the players about being complacent and thinking new comers Uganda Martyrs will be a walk in the park.
“We are not taking this game lightly and I have warned my players. They (Uganda Martyrs) are a good team with young and talented players. I watched them play against She Corporate, so we shall play them like any team,” added Mulindwa.
Ajax Queens have had enough rest compared to Uganda Martyr’s who played two games over the weekend in Soroti.
Uganda Martyrs lost 1-0 to Olila High school on Saturday but redeemed themselves with a hard-fought 1-0 against Eastern Heroes on Sunday.
Ajax Queens lead Victoria group with 13 points in five games while Uganda Martyrs are third on 7 points.
