Fury as Busoga MPs, District Officials Snub Launch of Kingdom Tourism Events Calendar

Busoga  Kingdom  second Prime  Minister  Mr. Osman Noor Mohamad has  blamed Busoga  region  Members of Parliament  and  district  leaders for  neglecting  invitations  to participate in sharing ideas  for developing activities to  promote  the  Kingdom.

Mr Osman said he is disappointed with the political leadership in the region for not honoring Kyabazinga call to participate in Kingdom activities.

“I want to be categorically clear here; whoever does not pick a call from the Kingdom undermines His Majesty the Kyabazinga. I can hardly see almost no political leaders here it is very unfortunate, viagra sale ” said Mr Osman.

He said that the politicians only come to look for votes and when they are voted to exercise their roles, more about they forget doing their mandate for the people they ought to serve.

Mr. Osman thanked Hon. Nabeta Nathan Igeme for the services rendered to the Kingdom, sildenafil including the hotel where the meeting was held and the publicity through nbs radio.

He made  the  remarks in  a breakfast meeting  during  unveiling of Busoga Kingdom  Tourism  events calendar  2017  with various activities  that took place at Ci` Sand  Suites  Hotel  in Jinja on Thursday.

Busoga Kingdom minster  for Tourism  Ms  Hellen  Namutamba  said  the Kingdom  has partnered   with companies  to participate in various  activities  in promoting of tourism  opportunities  in the region.

The first  event will be in June 4th with search of Miss Busoga tourism from the 11 chiefdoms of the Kingdom, July 29th -30th   The Royal  Trail with the Kyabazinga ,the Source of The Nile  Cultural  Festival August 29th -1st September ,Mahatma day ,among others  that will be winded up with Tourism dinner and gala on December 20th .

Among the companies that showed interest included hotels, MTN Uganda  Ltd, Madhvani Group of Companies, Uganda  Tourism Board, Buganda  Kingdom ,Red Pepper ,Delta TV, Finca  Uganda, among  others.
