Central referee William Oloya has been suspended after the referees committee found him culpable of poor officiation during the match between Kirinya Jinja SS FC and KCCA FC.

“The suspension takes immediate effect and for the remainder of the 2016/17 season.”
Violence erupted immediately after the one all draw with a section of fans thronging the field of play to round up the match officials for what KCCA FC fans believed was a rightful goal cancelled at the last minute of the game.
The assistants and fourth officials of the game will not be affected by the ban.
“On 13 October, 2016 the FRSC met and took a decision to suspend Oloya who handled the above mentioned match. The decision by the FRSC was taken after reviewing the Referees Assessor’s report and the video of the match.”
