The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) have entered into a sponsorship partnership with Pan African bank, adiposity http://coachypnose.fr/wp-admin/includes/nav-menu.php Ecobank to support the Uganda cranes.
Ecobank joins several other Uganda cranes sponsors and come in as the official banking partners of the national football team with a package worth Ugx 450M for three years.
While unveiling the sponsorship at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Tuesday morning, stuff http://cdaink.com.br/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/json-endpoints/class.wpcom-json-api-render-embed-reversal-endpoint.php Ecobank Uganda managing director Mr. Clement Dodoo indicated that they are proud to associate with the Uganda cranes at the time when the team will be playing at the African Cup of Nations.
“I express my sincere thanks to Cranes for making Uganda proud. I know it is been out of commitment and hardwork therefore as Ecobank we believe these efforts need to be appreciated and that’s why we have partnered with FUFA, search ” said Dodoo.
Fufa President, Engineer Moses Magogo who was also present during the unveiling of the sponsorship package thanked Ecobank and indicated that such deals come through only with better organisation and proper structures.
“I thank Ecobank for joining us. It is another milestone on our side as Fufa. When we started this innovation of creating a corporate body in August 2013, it seemed like a dream but we are proud that we have started getting such deals,” Magogo stated.
The deal worth Ushs 450 million is expected to directly fund Cranes bills for the next three years.
Ecobank joins other official cranes partners such as Nile Breweries, Rwenzori Mineral Water, Airtel, National Insurance Corporation and BIDCO Uganda.
In another development, Ecobank have also launched a Uganda cranes fundraising campaign ahead of the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
Dubbed “CRANES NALO NA KAJA” the campaign is aimed at soliciting for over 6 billion shillings that will help in facilitating the team ahead of Africa’s biggest football extravaganza.
The move is open to the general public where soccer enthusiasts will support the team financially through an Ecobank account named FUFA CRANES (0069166105476001) and mobile money number (0701224433).
The package however comes with rewards to outstanding contributors where 50 lucky fans who would have participated in the campaign will earn all paid expenses tickets to Gabon to support Uganda cranes in the group stage games against Mali, Egypt and Ghana.
“We welcome any kind of contribution from the public but those that raise Ugx 10,000 and above will enter a lucky draw to win tickets to Gabon,” said Primrose Kobusingye, the Ecobank communications manager.
