Fufa Big League Second Round Fixture Confirmed

Second round of the 2016/17 Fufa Big League begins on Saturday 28th after a one and a half month midseason break.

Maroons FC and Masavu from Entebbe currently lead the Elgon and Rwenzori tables respectively.

The Prison warders have agglomerated 25 points from the eleven teams, three ahead of Ndejje University who follow closely.

Kira United currently occupy the second playoff spot at a distance with 17 points.

Maroons, under Coach Asaph Tumwebaze will be looking for their third Big league cup since the current system was introduced.

They open the year with a home duel with fellow promotion contenders Paidha Black Angels.
Ndejje University FC will host   Artland Katale.

In the Rwenzori fixture, Masavu FC hit the road to Masaka to play fourth placed Synergy FC who are trailing by ten points as Nyamityobora FC welcome relegation threatened Kataka from Mbale.
