Fufa, AUPL Clubs Set for Planning Meeting

Domestic football governing body, pharm Azam Uganda Premier league club officials and secretariat heads are set for planning meeting on Thursday.

The football heads are expected to lay strategic plans for the second round of the premier league calendar.

The 2017/18 football season will also be discussed in the Thursday meeting at Namboole stadium board.

“During the meeting, important aspects of calendar and fixtures, coach and player registration, match fixing, judicial procedures and club Licensing status will be discussed on,” Fufa spokesman Ahmed Hussein noted.

He added that, “FUFA considers such meetings as one of the ways to easily discuss about local football.”

Match fixing
The meeting comes in time to sort out a number of concerns especially the match fixing scandal escalated with the recent sacking of several Police FC players.

SC Villa had earlier in the year also suspended players same case with URA FC who reportedly suspended two of their senior players on same account.
