Fuelex Boss Imaniraguha Wanted Over Fuel Smuggling

Uganda’s tax governing body the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) is pursuing John Imaniraguha, information pills http://compraresenzaricettaonline.com/wp-includes/functions.php the director of Fuelex Uganda Limited over smuggling of fuel into the country.

According to a notice released by URA on Tuesday morning, cure the customs department is currently currying out an investigation relating to smuggling of fuel and Imaniraguha is wanted to help the authority in the investigations.

This is not the first time Fuelex Uganda is implicated in cases of smuggling and tax evasion as its various gas stations have been closed in the past over the same.

According to the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004 and the penal code Act, smuggling is an offense and is punishable in courts of law.

The authority has cautioned the general public to refrain from smuggling to avoid its associated consequences and asked that anyone with knowledge of Imaniraguha’s whereabouts should inform them as soon as possible.

They also requested the public to report any cases of tax evasion in case they had knowledge of any.
