Four Injured in Kisoro Bus Accident

Four passengers  were seriously injured along the Kisoro- Kabale   road at Kanaba corner in Kisoro district when a Kampala bound bus they were travelling in failed to negotiate a corner and veered off the road.

The accident involving a Bismarkan coaches Limited bus occurred on Monday morning at around 07:40am at Kanaba corner in Kanaba Sub County along Kabale-Kisoro road in Kisoro District.

Other identities of the injured passengers were not yet known by the time of filling in the story.

Shaban Nteko, the Officer-in-charge of Traffic at Kisoro Police station says that the incident occurred when the bus registration number UAQ 497Q coming from Kisoro town failed to negotiate a very sharp corner at Kanaba and tumbled.

Nteko says the injured were rushed to Kisoro Hospital for treatment. He adds that after the incident, the yet to be identified driver of the bus took off.
