Former Cranes Coach Banned by TFF

The Tanzanian Football Federation (TFF) said that Mayanja was found guilty of dissent; uttering abusive language against referees who officiated in their league match against Mtibwa Sugar on 1st April 2015.

The match was played at Kambarage stadium in Shinyanga.

ChimpSport understands the former KCC FC player is further said to have accused the match officials of receiving a bribe from their opponents in order to rule the match against Kagera sugar.

Kagera Sugar under “Mia Mia”, as known by many, is fourth on the table standings with 31 points from 22 games, 15 below pace setters, Yanga SC.

The decision means the coach will miss the crucial tie against defending champions, Azam FC who are currently second, Mbeya City and new comers Ndanda FC. All are away ties.
