FJL: Soana, Villa Continue to Struggle

Defending champions Soana SA(in white) lost 3-2 to Masavu

Defending champions Soana soccer academy have had an awful start to the season in the four games they have played.

Soana who won the title last season lost their third game in a row suffering a 3-2 loss to Masavu junior team on Sunday.
Goals from Joseph Mubiru, Umar Ssebuliba and Yunus Kezimbira ensured Masavu won their third game of the season.
Soana’s goals were scored by Ivan Joel Okello and Aaron Kyeyune but only settled for consolation goals.
SC Villa Jogoo junior team failed to recover from last week’s 3-2 loss to Mbarara City and once again lost 2-0 against Vipers at St. Mary’s stadium.
Sula Mpanga and Benjamin Nazar scored for Vipers to condemn SC Villa to their third loss this season.
Despite drawing 2-2 away to Bright stars, Mbarara City junior team remained top of hat trick group with 12 points.
Nathaniel Atamba was yet again on the score sheet for Mbarara taking his goal tally to six in four games.
In the other games played, Proline staged a comeback to edge Express junior team 4-2 while UPDF FC earned a comfortable 3-0 victory against Maroons.
At Kibuli SS playground, Police Armless Brigade and Kirinya Jinja SS settled for two all draw.
