KCCA junior team cemented their lead in the treble group after cruising past Proline Soccer academy in the Fufa junior league game played at Phillip Omondi stadium on Sunday.

Proline began the better side and almost took the lead in the 7th minute but Andrew Mujungu’s shot ricocheted off the post to deny him.

KCCA too hit the woodwork with Gerald Kawooya’s effort kissing the crossbar before going out.

It was midfielder Asaba who broke the deadlock with two minutes to halftime slotting past Proline’s goalkeeper

Baker Mbowa’s side had a chance to level matters a minute after recess  but Muhammad Nsereko failed KCCA goalkeeper in a one one situation.

The visitors doubled the lead through Issa Ochama in the 66th minute tapping from range after Asaba did the donkey work to lay him up.

Second half substitute Ismail Wasswa who replaced Timothy Odongo  put the game beyond reach just a minute after introduction scoring with his first touch on the ball in the 66th minute.

The result means Proline lost their second game of the season after succumbing to a 1-0 loss to Sadolin Paints Junior last week while KCCA Junior team remain top of the treble group on 12 points in three games.
