Express recorded their second win this season in the Fufa Junior’s league with a spirited performance against Bright stars Junior team in a game played on Sunday at Kawanda Agricultural research institute.

The Eaglets who have spent most of the time languishing at the base of hatrick group began the second round with an emphatic 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Bright stars Junior team.

A goal in either half from Allan Kyeyune and winger Farah Suleiman ensured Express picked maximum points despite Mayambala Juma pulling one back for Bright stars.

Kyeyune gave the visitors an early lead heading home Farah Suleiman’s cross just three minutes after kickoff as Express held on the pressure from the home side to take the halftime lead.

Bright stars leveled matters in the 73rd minute with Juma Mayambala slotting past goalkeeper Irakoze Florentin after a mix up in the Express defence.
