After a spirited performance against Bright stars over the weekend, unhealthy Express Junior team resume action on Wednesday as they host JMC Hippos in the Fufa Junior league.

The Eaglets come into today’s clash in buoyant mood after nicking a hard-fought 2-1 win against Bright stars junior team on Sunday, their second win in the season.

The victory brought a sigh of relief, as Express at least moved from the base of hat trick group and will be hoping the result motivates them ahead of the game against JMC Hippos JT.

The Eaglets now occupy 7th spot with seven points in eight games.

The calves (Hippos JT) on the other hand occupy second position with 17 points, six points behind leaders Lweza orange brigade.

A win for JMC Hippos today would reduce the gap to within three or two points depending on the score.

The Jinja based side will hugely rely on Joseph Mpanguzi who has scored five goals so far.

Onduparaka Junior team host struggling Proline soccer academy in the other game of the day at the Betway greenlight stadium in Arua.

The West Nile side come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win against treble group leaders KCCA soccer academy, ending their unbeaten run and sit third on the table with 18 points.

Proline have struggled since the start of the season, failing to register a single victory and sit rock bottom of the treble group without a point.
