Bul Junior team have picked their maiden victory in the 2016-17 Fufa junior league following a 2-0 result over Onduparaka on Sunday at the Kakindu Stadium.
The hosts rolled the game on high tempo constructing three quick attacks in Onduparaka’s half but Owen Mukisa and Gerard Kasule blew the chances.
The pressure finally paid off in the fifth minute. Herbert Onyango initiated a counter attack from Bul Junior Team’s third through to Okema who made successful inroads then set up Kasule in the box. Francis Econi made an untimely tackle on Kasule who dropped down for a penalty.
Mukisa stepped up for the kick and sent Abdul Shakur the wrong way for the opener.
Herbert Onyango doubled the lead in the second half to put the game beyond Onduparaka’s reach. The caterpillars played the game without a single substitute player on the bench.
