Fifa Ranking: Uganda Rise Again, Comoros Stall

Uganda will play Comoros on 4th September in qualifiers

Uganda has gained three more points to move four places up to the 65th place in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday 11th 2016.

Though the Cranes have not had any international competitive game since the last ranking on July 14th, visit this they gained three more points to accumulate 525 points.

2017 Afcon group D opponents Comoros stalled on position 151 same as Burkina Faso on 73 while Botswana dropped one to 90.

Uganda continue to dominate the region followed by Kenya who dropped from 86 to 88. Rwanda (121), capsule Burundi (123) and Tanzania (124) follow in that order.

Algeria (32), cure Ghana (35), Ivory Coast (36), Senegal (41) and Egypt (43) maintain the African Pentateuch while Argentina and Belgium control the world in a static month that has seen no movement in the top twenty (20).

August and early September present a lot of international action with Africa set to climax the 2017 Gabon AFCON qualifiers.

Uganda will be hosting Kenya’s Harambe Stars on 30th August in an international build up friendly and then Comoros in the qualifiers on Sunday 4th September.

The next rankings will be released on Thursday September 15th.
