Fifa Boss Congratulates Champions KCCA

Recently crowned Uganda Premuer League champions KCCA FC have officially received a routine congratulatory message from world football chief Gianni Infantino.

The message from Fifa’s top most in command was received through Fufa president Moses Magogo on Tuesday.

“It gives me great pleasure to send my heartfelt congratulations to Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club and their indomitable team on this great achievement, order ” part of the letter read.

The Kasasiros picked their eleventh title as a result of muscling out fifteen other teams in the league setup with 57 points, four ahead of Vipers SC the runners up.

“This title is the result of determination of everyone involved and my congratulations go to the players, the coach, the entire technical and medical staff and the fans.”

By virtue of winning the League crown, the city lads will represent Uganda in next years Caf Champions league.

This is the first title for head coach Mike Mutebi in his two decades career.

However, the club failed to complete their maiden double after bowing out of the Uganda cup 2-1 in aggregate to dethroned league champs Vipers SC on Sunday.
