FDC Commences Nationwide Rallies

Opposition FDC has Monday launched a national mobilization program which starts tomorrow Tuesday in Mbarara district with the aim of reviewing the recently concluded general elections.

The party spokesperson, approved http://cebudoctorsuniversity.edu/events/recruitment-fair.php Ibrahim Semujju Nganda together with the party chief mobilizer Ingrid Turinanwe told the media during a weekly press briefing that the campaign will involve various political activities in 15 regions in the country.

“Our interaction is intended to among others reenergize FDC leaders and democracy seeking forces at the lowest level to know that the task required of us is bigger than it has ever been,” Nganda noted.

“Our message to all the leaders everywhere we will go to know that they now need to double their efforts and work harder than they have ever done.”

“We shall carry out various political activities with our leaders and also supporters. These meetings will be addressed by the FDC leaders and we have invited various experts who have been part of similar failed states.”

Ms Turinawe revealed that the party will hold workshops in 15 regions of the country under the theme; “Strengthening FDC to consolidate its achievements and enhance party cohesion”.

“The workshops will be for two days and after every workshop, we will conclude with a mega rally in the major town of every region,” Ingrid remarked.

“In Ankole- Mbarara, South Buganda- Masaka, Busoga-Jinja, Acholi-Gulu, Bukedi and Namayingo, Tororo, Bugisu-Mbale, Teso-Soroti, Karamoja-Moroto, East Buganda-Mukono, Central and North Buganda will be in Kampala, Bunyoro and Toro- Hoima, Kigezi-Kabale, Rwenzori-Kasese, West Nile- Arua and Lango in Lira.”

“We are starting tomorrow with Mbarara and after the workshop, we shall go to Isingiro specifically to deliver relief’” Ingrid said.

“We shall have to review the 2016 Elections, handle conflict management and resolution, party development and organization, then mobilization and recruitment.”

“We have fully informed Police both at regional and national levels, hope they will corporate.”
