Synergy lost 1-0 to Entebbe based club Masavu on the opening day of the 2016/17 Fufa Big league at Katabi play ground on Thursday.

Ssenyondo stated that he was satisfied with the team’s performance and display against Masavu despite losing the game.

“We were playing away from home against a good team,they played in the playoffs last season but we pushed them to the limit and I was happy with that,” said the youthful coach.

Ssenyondo stressed that he will rectify a few mistakes that cost the team in the game against Masavu.

“We have a few things that we need to iron out especially in the attacking options but that will be sorted out soon,” he stated.

New recruit Solomon Wafula from Proline struck the solitary goal at the hour mark for Allan Kabonge coached Masavu side to start the season with maximum points.

Synergy return to action on Saturday at home (Masaka recreation ground) against Hope Doves.
