Kirinya-Jinja ss FC can no longer be ruled out of a direct promotional spot to the 2016-17 Uganda premier league season after overcoming Wakiso United in Wakiso in a rescheduled game.
The match was initially planned for Thursday 28 but was postponed due to lack of venue.
Allan Drajua converted the all-important goal from the spot in the 58th minute after James ‘Demba’ Opio had been fouled while racing to score.

The leaders Proline FC floundered in their match against Synergy FC in Masaka falling 2-1. Gerrard Kimuli and an own goal gave the hosts a double lead just before Gift Ali’s consolation.
