FBL: Onduparaka Opts For Attacking Against Sporting

Onduparaka FC coach Allan Kabonge has promised not only to beat Sporting United but to do it in style when the two go head to head in the Elgon group promotion decider.

“For the first time a big league team is coming for attacking football at green light stadium and it’s what we have been waiting for, drug my boys love playing against teams that attack, ” Kabonge told Chimp Sport after prematch training at the Greenlight stadium.

“It’s our last game, we are going attack like we have always done.”

The caterpillars top the group with 50 points, three ahead of the Lira based side.

The first meeting ended with Sporting United picking 2-0 advantage in Lira. Onduparaka FC need just a draw but their visitors can also go through with a win due to superior goal advantage.

Onduparaka trained by Allan Kabonge have only lost four games in the whole season and boost a fortress at Greenlight stadium where they have not lost a game but have drawn only one against Baza Holding.

“They’re not a simple team, their type of football is really good and I think out of all the contenders Onduparaka is our main threat,” sporting united coach Dan Engwedo told this website earlier in the season.
