FBL: First Round Hits Climax


The 2016-17 Fufa Big League season enters the final fixtures this weekend before ushering the mid-season break.

About four games, this two in each group are scheduled for Thursday. Elgon group giants Ndejje University travel to Moroto in a bid to maintain their top three spot into the break.

The scholars have 19 points, five adrift of runaway leaders Maroons FC and a victory could set the team in pole position to start the second round in the playoff bracket.

In the other game in Elgon, second placed Kira United head to Barifa stadium in Arua to clash Dove All Stars. The debutants have surprised many with their form that has seen the team lose only one of their ten games this season.

Former league side, Entebbe FC host Suncity in Bugonga where a win lifts them into the playoff zone.

Other games will be played on Saturday.
