FBL: Draws Dominate as Kira UTD, Ndejje Pick Wins

Kira United beat Moroto away

Newly promoted big league side Kira United FC picked their first points in the division hitting Moroto United 2-0 on the road. Emma Obitre made ammends in the 27th minute burying Goso Kayongo’s low pass.

Obitre had earlier seen his 20th minute penalty punched away by the keeper. Christopher Kawagu had been brought down in the box.

Kawagu sealed the game five minutes after the hour mark looping in keeper Abdu Kimera’s long goal kick. Both teams are playing their first season in the big league.

In Kibuli SS, about it Water FC kickstarted their affairs in a relatively disappointing fashion after coming from a goal down to lead 2-1 through Dennis Latek and Fred Kalanzi but later conceded to share spoils with Baza Holdings.
