Farmer Remanded for Accusing Bishop of Biting his Private Parts

Makindye Court Chief Magistrate Erias Kakooza has remanded to Luzira Prison one Joseph Kato Mukasa, page a farmer from Kiboga District for defaming Bishop Patrick Makumbi when he accused him of biting his testicles.

Prosecution alleges that between the months of February and March at Suubi Fm, physician Dembe FM and Biliv TV, health with intent to ridicule the profession of Bishop Patrick Makumbi, the accused claimed that the man of God bit his testicles.

Mukasa is also said to have appeared in a feature story on one of the Tv stations narrating how he was used by one of the city pastors to fake testimony.

When the charges were read for him, the accused pleaded not guilty, and was advised by the magistrate to proceed for bail, but he lacked sureties.

The state prosecutor Happiness Ainebyona told court that she just received the police file and asked for an adjournment to internalize it.

The magistrate adjourned this matter to 19th June when it will be appearing for mention.
