Express Release Ten Players

Express FC Coach Matia Lule has released a total of ten players as he looks to revamp his squad composition ahead of the second round.

The club officially announced the names just some minutes to Christmas day.

The axed players include Strikers John Ssemazi and Isaac Sserunkuma, and midfielder Rogers Lukwiya and goalie Ali Kigundu.

Others are centre back Bob Kasozi, Ivan Mutumba, Muhammad Kayongo, Yafesi Mubiru, Paddy Tebusweke and Richard Kigozi.

Pending transfers
The Red Eagles could also loose influential midfielder Ibrahim Saddam Juma who has been strongly linked with a move to KCCA FC and Kenyan champions Tusker FC.

Released players:

Goalkeepers; Ali Kiggundu, Ivan Mutumba

Defender; Bob Kasozi

Midfielders; Richard Kigozi, Rogers Lukwiya, Muhammad Kayongo

Forwards; Yafesi Mubiru, Isaac Sserunkuma, John Ssemazzi  and
Paddy Tebusweke
