Express FC Coach Gitta Released on Bail Ahead of Villa Duel


With just less than 24 hours to go, order Express FC fans will be a relieved lot after their head coach Alex Gitta was released on bail from Kigo prison where he had been remanded for the last five days since Thursday.

“By the grace of God am out and back from Kigo prison where I was remanded, medicine ” a joyful Gitta posted the news on one of his social media accounts.

Gitta confirms he was released together with Mafabi, Sebuma, Tadeo Okong, Othieno and Isoma.

The CAF B qualified coach was an aspirant for the Entebbe Municipality legislative post in the recently concluded general elections.

He was arrested for participating in the illegalized opposition ‘defiance’ campaign.

He is expected to be present in the fierce Kampala derby pitting his side Express FC against SC Villa on Tuesday at Wankulukuku.
