Exams Interfere In Hearing Of MUK Students Case

Hearing of the case where 4 Makerere University students are accused of demonstrating against the closure of the University before Buganda Road court chief magistrate court Jameson Karemani has flopped.

State prosecution today failed to produce witnesses, for sale who are fellow students, who are currently preparing for their exams.

Prosecutor Emily Ninsiima asked court for an adjournment so as to summon the witnesses later, which was not objected by defense.

The trial magistrate adjourned the hearing of the case to 3rd March 2017.
