Rally crew of Jas Mangat and navigator Joseph Kamya emerged the overall winners of the fourth round of the national rally championship held in Fort Portal over the weekend.
Mangat and Kamya drove their Mitsubishi Evo X to the fastest time of one hour 33 minutes and 56 seconds.
Andrew Desh Kananura and Anthony Mugambwa finished four minutes and 58 seconds later at a time of one hour 38 minutes and 54 seconds.
Adam Essa (1:41:32) completed the podium places while Susan Muwonge (1:41:49) and Ambrose Byona (1:46:12) finished fourth and fifth respectively in the rally dubbed “Mountains of the moon rally”.

Duncan ‘Kikankane’ Mubiru with his co-driver George Semakula in their Evo X scooped Mangat on Saturday in the super stage category commonly known as the circuit drive.
Robert Zikusooka driving Toyota run x with Musa Kizito- his navigator won the two-wheel drive category followed by Adam Raufu.
President of the Uganda motor club Badru Sebunya revealed that the next round of National rally championship shall be held by Hoima district if they meet the required standards.
