Europeans In Deadly Accident in Kampala

The suspect Sulaiman Kato at CPS

Three people including two Europeans have been involved in an accident in Kampala along Kimathi Avenue; in which they sustained serious injuries.

According to Kampala Metropolitan traffic police commander Norman Musinga, illness this accident was caused by 30 year old Kato Sulaiman, a car washer who was recklessly driving one of the vehicles which had been brought for washing.

The particulars of the other three people involved in the accident were not yet known. The three who included two whites and a Ugandan were rushed to Mulago referral Hospital in critical condition.

Case file number TAR/921/2016 has been opened up for the matter and charges are going to be preferred against Kato after receiving the advice of the Resident State.

Meanwhile both the vehicles involved in the accident; a Toyota Caldina Registration number UAH 206W (which Sulaiman was driving) and a Volvo UAH 500C are currently parked at Central Police station in Kampala where the suspect is also being held.
