Ethiopian Airlines have extended support to Uganda Motocross team by offering air tickets ahead of the Africa Motocross championship.
Ethopian airlines has offered 3 free air tickets to three riders that will represent Uganda in Botswana for all Africa competition and discounted tickets for the rest including fans.
Ethiopian Airlines country manager Angessi Abebe believes the support offered will help riders to ably compete.
“We saw the dire need that the riders required and we took the decision to offer support to help them compete,” he said.
Team captain,Maximee Van Pee thanked the airline for the timely support and promised to lift the flag high.
“This is a timely boost for us. I believe it will automatically energize us and also help us to have more riders competing in Botswana,” Maximee noted.
The championship in Botswana is expected to take place between 24th and the 27 August this year.
About ten Ugandan riders are expected to take part.
