In an interview with journalists, Jovia Saleh Akandwanaho, under whose office the group was received, said it was a nice gesture that the youth had seen the light and moved away from the acts of defiance that would not lead the country anywhere.

“It is an indicator that most people are not interested in violence and are ready to keep what has been achieved,” Jovia Saleh told journalists.

According to her, most youth need to be educated on where the country has moved from and where it is headed, adding that Uganda cannot return to where it was a few years back but forward.

“They should know they are tomorrow’s leaders and should therefore know what is good and bad for the development of the country,” she urged.
