The 8 include AbdulRashid Mbabazi, hospital Ali Mugoya, Kasujja Shafiq, Ssemwanga Ibrahim, Sauda Ayubu and Male Ddamulira.
They were charged with a total of 5 charges including terrorism, murder and Robbery.
The magistrate refused to take any plea since the alleged cases were capital in nature, saying they can only be heard by the High Court.
State prosecutor Reachel Nabwiire informed court that investigations into the matter are still ongoing and thus asked court to issue a production warrant of 2 other suspects who have not appeared in court.
The suspects have been remanded to Luzira prisons until May 18th when they will return to court for mention of their case.
Prosecution alleges that the accused together with others still at large between January and March participated in terrorism, murder of AIGP Andrew Kawesi his driver Wambewo and Body guard Kenneth Erau at Kulambiro Nakawa division Kampala district.
It is further alleged that they went ahead and robbed Erau’s pistol and SMG riffle.
