Mulago Hospital pathologist Dr Stephen Onzivua has pinned 5men before Makindye General Court Martial in the murder of Mrs Jaliya Katongole Nabusolo and robbery of 3.8 million shillings.

In his testimony, Dr Onzivua informed court that on 22nd June 2009 while he was based at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Mortuary in Mulago, he carried out a post mortem report on Mrs Katongole’s body and discovered that the cause of her death was bullet wounds.
“On examination, I found the body with five bullet wounds in the chest and one bullet was discovered in the back of the body. I concluded that the cause of death was excessive bleeding from injured lungs which were damaged by bullets”
The doctor added that after finalizing the report, he handed it over to police officers who forwarded it to the investigating officers.

Major Raphael Mugisha the lead prosecutor informed court that they have closed their case with 9 witnesses and therefore the court chairman Andrew Gutti adjourned the matter to 30thJanuary for final submissions.
