DP Puts Cash Prizes on Cranes Goals

Opposition Democratic Party (DP) in support of the Uganda Cranes Team has pledged to pay half a million shillings to the team for every goal that shall be scored in AFCON.

Kakande said that the party will continue to support the Cranes, pledging that they will do more than the pledged Sh500, 000 for each goal scored as the game continues.

“We have finalized with the cheque, we are only left with filling in the figures according to the goals that will be scored.”

Kakande however, condemned the failure by government through Uganda Broadcasting Cooperation to relay the tournament which was a great disappointment to the sports fraternity in the country.

Uganda Cranes kick off the the Afcon Campaign today in Gabonian city of Port Gentil where they face Ghana.
