DP Blame “Thugs in Police” on Kayihura

Opposition Democratic Party (DP) have joined other Ugandans to mourn the untimely death of former Police Spokesperson, ask http://coronaextra.com.au/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-config-sample.php AIGP, for sale Felix Kaweesi who was assassinated on Friday morning together with his bodyguard and driver, diagnosis on his way to work in Kulambiro.

The DP Presidential Press Secretary, Fred Mwesigwa told the media on Tuesday that the tragic passing on of the officers in line of duty highlights the grave dangers men and women in uniform face each day as they strive to keep Ugandans safe.

Mwesigwa said the death of Kaweesi deprived Uganda of a leading career Police Officer who will always be remembered as an amiable man who tried to put a human face onto Uganda Police.

“The party therefore sends sympathies to the families of the deceased as they mourn the loss of their beloved ones,” Mwesigwa said.

Commenting on President Museveni’s orders to the IGP, Kale Kayihura to clean up the police force with warnings that it has been infiltrated by criminals; DP observed that the process should begin with cleaning up the police top leadership.

The DP Deputy Spokesperson, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro noted, “Kayihura has been in charge of Police for 10 years and for the last 5 years people are being killed with no conclusive reports coming out which is a sign of high level of incompetence.”
