The Managing Director of the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), sildenafil http://ccresourcecenter.org/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/json-endpoints/class.wpcom-json-api-get-post-v1-1-endpoint.php Eng. Dr. Silver Mugisha has cautioned politicians against politicizing water works saying that the corporation’s model is strictly a service delivery model.
“I therefore request that let’s not politicize service delivery. Water is colourless meaning that we don’t focus on any party or party colour,” he said.
Dr. Mugisha sounded the caution while speaking at the launch of the Bushenyi-Sheema Water supply and sanitation project at Kitagata Sub County offices, earlier this week.
The project, according to NWSC officials, was launched in a move to improve access to Safe water in the areas of Bugongi, Ishaka, Bushenyi, Kabwohe and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Mugisha also warned the project contractors against compromise in the quality of work, advising the residents to also take part in the supervision of the project progress.
The event was attended by Hon. Ronald Kibuule, the State Minister for water, Hon. Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye, the Minister for Science, Technology and innovation, Hon. Ephraim Kamuntu, the Minister for Tourism, NWSC officials, Bushenyi District among many other dignitaries.
In his speech, Hon. Kibuule lauded Ephraim Kamuntu for the passion he had towards service delivery during his tenure as the Water and Environment Minister.
He urged the public to always support NWSC by paying their water bills cautioning the committees in charge of public stand pipes not to increase the cost of a jerrycan.
