The late Hon. Mutende died on the night of Saturday at his residence in Makindye, Kampala due to natural causes.
Hon. Oulanyah, while delivering his condolence message, encouraged the family to stay strong.
He described the Hon. Dr. Mutende as a strong Legislator, and seasoned professional.
“He was a very honourable man. He always made sure he attended House sessions as often as possible,” Rt. Hon. Oulanyah remarked.
Hon. Amelia Kyambadde, the Minister for Trade and Industry described the late as a flexible person.
“We at the Ministry have lost a diligent hardworking man. He was modest and taught me how to be toned down while dealing with Public Service issues,” Hon. Kyambadde said.
Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba, Woman MP for Bugiri District and NRM party Secretary General commended the late Hon. Dr. Mutende for being an honest, upright and modest person.
Dr. Mutende’s body will lie in State at the Parliament on Wednesday and a special sitting will be held in his honor in the afternoon.
