Defeated Minister Banyenzaki Quits Politics

Banyenzaki who has represented the constituency for 15 years conceded defeat and revealed that he would be concentrating on living a simple private life.

Minister Banyenzaki who lost his parliamentary seat to Eng. Denis Sabiti Bamwoya Ndyanabo made the revelation while speaking exclusively to Chimpreports over the weekend.

He also dismissed word that he was considering standing for the Rubanda District LC5 chair (curved out of Kabale) which becomes operational in 2017, adding that he is only serving in his current positions until end of the term.

Banyenzaki said however that he is still available for appointment by the President in any other position as he wishes.

He said that he was fought by several leaders in the district out of intrigue and greed that he has been fighting against.

He however described his 15 years of service as fruitful, noting that he has left a big mark on Rubanda.
