CRICKET: Mixed Fortunes for Uganda At ICC League

Uganda eased  against Nepal but need a win against Kenya

Uganda started well with a two runs win over Nepal on Saturday but later slipped against Namibia by 4 wickets with 22 balls remaining.

Uganda play Canada on Wednesday before taking on the Netherlands in her last fixture of the group matches.

Uganda currently lies in fourth with two games played, winning once and a loss collecting two points. Namibia leads the log with maximum points from two games played followed by the Netherlands and Nepal in second and third respectively.

Canada and Kenya are in fifth and sixth respectively. Uganda needs a top finish to graduate to Division one and earn herself good sums of money from ICC while third and fourth will leave us unmoved with a fair share of development grants.

Finishing outside the top four will leave the Cricket Cranes relegated to Division three.
