The Uganda national football team (Uganda Cranes) has continued preparations ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifier game against Cape Verde which comes barely a fortnight from now.
After a comfortable 3-1 victory against the Kitara region on Sunday, viagra 60mg head coach Milutin Sredojevic “Micho” has not taken anything for granted with preparations continuing.
On Tuesday, several foreign based players including Farouk Miya attended training at Mandela national stadium. The drills will shift to two sessions on Wednesday both in the morning and evening.
The other notable players who attended Tuesday training include Nicholas Wadada, Dennis Iguma, Murushid Jjuko, Joseph Ochaya among others.
The team departs the country on Thursday evening to Ethiopia where they will play a buildup game against the Ethiopian national team on Saturday 3rd June at Hawassa city stadium.
From Ethiopia, the cranes will head to Dakar, Senegal where they are expected to play another international friendly game against the Lions of Teranga on 6th June.
Uganda is in group L in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Cape Verde, Lesotho and Tanzania.
The Cranes who are the only side in this group that featured at the just concluded AFCON tournament in Gabon will kick start the campaign against Cape Verde on 10th June at Estadio da Varzea in Praia.
