Justice Elizabeth Nahamya ruled that the University violated Ndiege’s rights by refusing to appraise him for five years which would have been a basis against his re-appointment as Vice Chancellor.
The judge also ruled that it was wrong for the University to search for a new Vice Chancellor without first giving him a chance.
Ndiege sued The University for refusing to re-appoint him for the second term yet he had served it for five years since 2009.
