KCCA FC team yesterday embarked on training in Mbarara on Ntare grounds in preparation for the Uganda Cup Final against Villa at the Kyamatte Sports Ground in Ntungamo.

KCCA Skipper told Chimpreports Mpiima Saka that the team received a warm welcome from western supporters; something that showed pride and love for the team.
He says the pain and shock from Tuesday accident is already behind them and that all focus is on the ultimate prize.
Savio Kabugo rejoined the team in Mbarara in preparation for the Final but he will not be included in the squad playing Sc Villa at Kyamatte grounds.

Their opponents (Sc Villa) are also training from Kyamatte grounds where the match will be played from before the first lady Janet Kataha Museveni as the chief guest.
“Besides the Final, this training will also prepare us for CECAFA in July,” captain Mpiima said
Both teams come into the final searching for a ninth trophy to try and catch up with record winners, Express FC which stands high with 10.
Mpiima thanked FUFA for preparing these finals in western Uganda; something he hoped would increase on the number of supporters for KCCA and other Ugandan clubs.
Mpiima urged all Ugandans to go and support the two giants at Kyamate playground in Ntungamo district.
He further said that including two western players on the team ie, Mucurezi Paul from Kabale and Mugume Yasire increased the teams support there.
About 6 buses will be ferrying supporters from Kampala to catch the final.
