Claire Lamunu Named GSAC Player of the Week

Female basketball player Claire Lamunu has continued to dominate the limelight in the USA with her stellar performances this season.

On Tuesday, pills Lamunu was named the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) player of the week.

The Ugandan basketball player who formerly played with KCCA Leopards has been in sublime performance helping her team, stuff Vanguard University to put up a 10 game winning streak.

Lamunu who played three games last week averaged 26.5 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists yet just playing an average of 29 minutes.

With such incredible statistics, Lamunu was named the player of the week, the first in 2017 and she is also a big contender for the player of the season.

In the previous game, Vanguard University( Lions) defeated Menlo College 68-50 with Lamunu scoring a game high 32 points.

She also had 11 rebounds and 5 assists in the same game.

The 2014 USPA Female basketball player returns to action today (Wednesday) against Saint Katherine College.

Lamunu moved to Vanguard University of South California in 2015 after earning a four year basketball scholarship as she pursues a bachelors degree in Bio Chemistry.
