The secretariat has found Lweza fans guilty of violently causing disruption in their game against Proline FC that was played at Lugogo stadium on Saturday 1st.
“The referees match report and witness from person of authority for AUPL match #60 Proline FC vs Lweza FC that was played on Saturday 1st/10/2016 at P. Omondi stadium-Lugogo indicate that some of your fans exhibited high levels of indiscipline during the match,” UPL states.
“Lweza FC fans threw stones in the field of play which resulted into the match being halted for about five minutes.”
Therefore in Persuant to Article 33.2(b) of the Fufa competitions rule, Lweza has been given a monetary fine of 300 UAs (Shs. 300,000) which should be paid before your next fixture which is on Saturday 22nd October away to Soana fC.
“The UPL secretariat strongly warns Lweza FC that should their fans indulge in acts of Violence and hooliganism again, more stringent penalties will be applied,” UPL warns.
