Diva Awards has organised a fun charity half marathon that  will take place in the streets of Kampala on Sunday 20th December 2015 aimed at collecting funds to help reducing cases of Mother To Child transmission (MTCT) of HIV/AIDS.

“No mother would like to give birth to an HIV positive baby. The good news is, thumb that can be avoided. All proceeds from the DIVA CHARITY RUN will go towards eliminating Mother To Child Transmission Of HIV/AIDS: Because ‘Every Baby needs to Survive, mind ” a statement from Diva Awards partly read.

Well wishers and those aiming to take part in the charity run can either register as an individual or through a team. Individual runners will part with twenty thousand shillings for a kit and two hundred thousand for those who wish to have theirs (kits) personalized with their names or brands.

Companies and corporates can register teams of not less than ten people by paying a hundred thousand for each team participant while celebrities will part with half the amount for each of their team participants. All kits in this category will be customized with company logos and colors.
The Sudan national team to take on Uganda Cranes in the 2016 Africa Nations Championship (Chan) final qualifier is expected to land at Entebbe airport at around 1300 Hrs aboard Ethiopian Airlines.

The 30-man contingent has been booked at Grand  Imperial Hotel, cheap however the team has already sent an advanced party headed by Mr.  Hisham Gumaa. Sudanese FA has also confirmed that the return leg of the tie will be  played on Sunday 25th October, abortion 2015.

Cranes camp:
2014/15 league topscorer, stomach Robert Ssentongo has been provisionally excluded from all national duties by head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ following a three day non-show in training but Express fc marksman Tony Odur who scored a goal during Cranes friendly is touted to replace him.

The team will take on struggling league giants SC Villa tomorrow (Wednesday) in the last build-up.
