Uganda Cranes head coach Sredjovich ‘Micho’ Milutin has released his squad to face the Taifa stars at the Amaan stadium in Zanzibar.

The Serbian has trusted the hands of teenage goalkeeper James Alitho from Vipers. The youthful custodian will be shielded by Brian Ochwo and Captain Hassan Waswa   while Deus Okoth and 2015 Express defender Shafiq Bakaki will assist in defense.

2015 Uganda cup winner and MVP, drugs Erisa Sekisambu will provide creative options in the midfield together with Azam Premier League MVP, hospital Farouk Miya. URA and top league marksman, Robert Sentongo will lead the attack.

Ssekisambu scored his goals on the 38th and 65th minute, http://consolibyte.com/scripts/build/build_20130704/quickbooks.php both from poor defending hosts. The first came from John Ssemazi’s clinical pass which Deogratius Munishi failed to firmly handle and the ball begging for a finish of which Sekisambu beat Miya for the opener.

The second came from a clear pass that left Sekisambu and Munishi on a one-on-one situation. The Villa man slotted to the far left to double the lead.

Farouk Miya got his goal of the day from the spot after lanky URA FC forward Frank Kalanda was fouled by Erasto Nyoni in the forbidden area.

Uganda will host Tanzania for the return leg two weeks from now on Saturday 4th July at the Nambole stadium. The aggregate winner of this fixture will face Sudan in the final qualifying round.
