Two goals from 2015 Uganda cup MVP, cheapest Erisa Ssekisambu and a last minute penalty from Vipers and Azam premier league MVP, Farouk Miya gave Uganda Cranes Chan team an important 3-0 away win against Taifa stars in a Chan preliminary first round played at the Amaan stadium in Zanzibar.

Ssekisambu scored his goals on the 38th and 65th minute, both from poor defending hosts. The first came from John Ssemazi’s clinical pass which Deogratius Munishi failed to firmly handle and the ball begging for a finish of which Sekisambu beat Miya for the opener.

The second came from a clear pass that left Sekisambu and Munishi on a one-on-one situation. The Villa man slotted to the far left to double the lead.

Farouk Miya got his goal of the day from the spot after lanky URA FC forward Frank Kalanda was fouled by Erasto Nyoni in the forbidden area.
