CECAFA secretary general Nicholas Musonye has lauded Fufa’s organization and also termed the 2016 women’s championship a success.
The outspoken SG was addressing media on Monday morning during the last media briefing held on the eve of the finals at the FTC in Njeru.

The tournament has seen a sizeable number of fans attending all the groups which the organisers pick as a positive going into the next editions.

The games will climax on Tuesday 19 September with Uganda taking on Ethiopia in the third place play offs before Kenya and Tanzania go head to head for the ultimate championship prize.
