Busoga’s Pioneer Bishop Battling for Life

Christians in Busoga Diocese have Sunday committed some time to pray for the retired and pioneer Bishop of Busoga Diocese Dr Cyprian Bamwoze to get better for the glory of God.

Dr. Bamwoze has for about a full week been admitted at Nakasero hospital where he is battling with stomach complications and attendants say he needs prayers.

Paul Bamwoze, approved the youngest son to Bishop Bamwoze who is attending to him at Nakasero hospital said doctors were trying everything possible to diagnose the bishop and treat every illness.

“He is now better than when we came to hospital because he can now talk and we are hopeful that he will be better and discharged soon” Bamwoze said.

Bishop Bamwoze who was the Bishop of Busoga diocese between 1972 and 1999 is now 84 years.
