Businessman Ivan Semwanga Is Dead

South Africa-based Ugandan businessman Ivan Semwanga is dead.
He was 40.
Semwanga passed away on Thursday morning at a hospital in Pretoria where he had been admitted following a stroke.
This was confirmed by his former wife, cheapest Zari Hassan.
In a statement on her known Facebook page, Zari described the deceased as a great man whose works touched many lives.
“God loves those that are special and that’s exactly who you were and I guess that’s why he wanted you to himself,” recalled Zari.
“You have touched and helped thousands, you did wonders.”
Semwanga owns schools and other businesses in South Africa.
In Uganda, Semwanga was known for his generosity; making huge financial contributions to charity organizations.
He also donated funds to the Uganda Cranes, supporting the national football team during critical moments.
Many looked at Semwanga as a role model due to his selflessness and humility.
The deceased was social and easily associated with people from all walks of life.
In Uganda, he was last spotted at Blankets and Wine event at Lugogo Cricket Oval before returning to South Africa.
A few weeks later, news spread like a wild fire that he was admitted in critical condition.
The cause of the stroke remains unknown.
Zari recalled Semwanga saying life was too short hence the need to “live to the fullest.”
Indeed, he was a man of parties and led the so-called Rich Gang – a group of wealthy men.
She said, to the kids, Semwanga was a “hero-some kind of superman.”
Zari said Semwanga was charming and that he will “missed and remembered in so many ways. You were Ivan the great.”
